Chat Designed for Privacy
Protection beyond encrypting messages.
You expect a secure messaging app to have always-on encryption, one on one and group conversations, and secure file storage. You expect we can’t read your messages or store anything on our servers. These are the basics.
SKY ECC goes beyond the basics with self-destructing messages, 30 second flash messages, secure audio messages, an emergency password, encrypted metadata, and privacy controls built in. Your messages are 100% private, even we can’t read your messages under any circumstances. Our goal is to offer you total security and privacy in an easy to use interface you’ll understand instantly in a zero-learning curve package.
Trusted, Private Contacts
Build your private network as you add, approve, and reject contacts.
Only you know your SKY ECC ID as it is randomly generated and can’t be discovered through the app—you have to share it yourself with those you trust. Before someone can chat with you, you have to approve their contact request. If someone breaks that trust, you can delete and block them.
You can trust your SKY ECC contacts because you’re in control of who is on your contact list—and who knows your private SKY ECC ID—not us.
Installed on Tamper-resistant Hardware
We protect the device to protect the app.
Tamper-resistant hardware and OS-level protections are built into our secure messaging app. We then apply device management policies to lock down features that could compromise your security or privacy. The devices we choose not only have to have tamper-resistant chips, but also come from manufacturers with a proven record of not weakening protections with backdoors.
SKY ECC is installed in a protected container on this already secure device, offering you layers of protection. This aligns with our zero-trust philosophy in building truly secure messaging products.
Network Security at Scale
A global network of servers make sure SKY ECC works wherever you are.
SKY ECC’s secure, distributed global network lets you can chat in privacy wherever you are. Sky uses SIMs from global carriers so you have data access around the world to work and communicate anywhere.
Our SIMs connect through a private tunnel to our servers to prevent eavesdropping at every level. Wi-Fi connections are secured immediately with no gaps. SKY ECC prevents you from logging into the app if the connection is insecure. From the first packet to the message itself—your connection and data are secure and encrypted.
